1951 13′ Lyman Runabout

The Lil White Ly is a perfect example of a very well-maintained 13′ Lyman. She has consistently received its needed maintenance in recent years; structurally, cosmetically and mechanically.

  • Sealed & painted bilge with Lyman Sand Tan
  • Varnish on inside strakes with Epifanes Varnish
  • Refinish of all other brightwork, Epifanes Varnish
  • Several coats of white paint on the sides
  • Copper Bronze bottom paint
  • Yearly cosmetic touch-ups as needed

She is powered by an ultra-reliable Honda 20 horse motor that is only a few years old. Also comes with a mooring cover and poles, as well as a great little trailer. The helm has been upgraded from the old cable and pulley steering to Teleflex type.

She has been the New England Chapter’s Antique and Classic Boat show a few times, as well as the New England Lyman Group’s shows. She shows quite nicely!

A great little boat for cruising in and out of little bays or visiting friends on islands. Or could be a great way to introduce kids to wooden boating! The boat is small enough that regular upkeep can be done right in someone’s garage, should they desire to do the work themselves. All of the major refinish work is done and now it’s just a matter of a little cosmetic upkeep here and there.

Price with motor: $13,000

Price without motor: $10,000
