Hello fellow members,
Our favorite time of year has once again arrived! Our boats are hitting the water and we’re all getting out there for our first cruises and making new memories.
We’re happy to announce that Registrations are now open for our 49th Annual Lake Winnipesaukee Antique & Classic Boat Show! This year the show is on Saturday July 29th at the Wolfeboro Town docks, from 9-2. We’ll also be hosting our ever-popular Friday Night Cocktail Reception on the eve of the show, which is a great opportunity to have some drinks and hors d’oeuvres and meet your fellow boaters who will be in the show. We recently held our Annual Chapter Meeting, which was well attended, where we discussed what we’ve been up to and some of the plans for this year. Some of this is outlined below.
Over the Spring our Webmaster Steve completed a full website rebuild, bringing some of the functionality, speed, and design up to current standards.
The Trading Dock has been refreshed and several boats for sale have been added to it. Please remember that listing your boat or boat memorabilia for sale for free on the website is one of your member benefits, so don’t hesitate to send an email to info@necacbs.org if you’d like to have something listed.
The Poster Store has been completely revamped and built up to feature individual product pages and an updated checkout method. The store has also been re-branded as The Ship’s Store, and steps are being taken to bring back NEC-ACBS products such as shirts, hats, mugs and the like and have them for sale on the site. We’re very excited about this, stay tuned for more details on that as the season progresses!
We’ve also taken steps to facilitate and encourage members to get together to run their boats. Details are available on our Group Runs for 2023 post, where we already a few Group Runs planned which we’d love for you to join us on, head on over and check it out!
