Squam Lake Group Boat Tour

Saturday, September 30th – 1-2:30 pm @ Squam Lake Cruise Headquarters

Join us on a leisurely cruise of Squam Lake on one of  the Squam Lakes Science Center‘s boats. We have chartered one of their 20-seat pontoon boats for a nice cruise around this charming little lake. Here is some information from the Squam Lakes Science Center’s site:

Learn about the natural history of Squam Lake, look for majestic Bald Eagles, and listen for the haunting call of Common Loons. Hear about the people who have lived on its rocky shores surrounded by scenic mountains for over 5,000 years. Cruise on this beautiful lake where On Golden Pond was filmed  more than 40 years ago.

Parking:

Squam Lakes Natural Science Center is located on Route 113 in Holderness, NH. Park in Science Center parking lots and follow the walking path across Route 113 to Lake Cruise Headquarters. Please arrive 15 minutes before your cruise departure time. Find us on Google Maps

Be Prepared:

Please arrive for your lake cruise with appropriate clothing for current weather conditions and remember that it is often cooler on the water. We recommend layers with rain/wind jackets, hats, and gloves if needed.

Tickets are $21 per person and the boat seats 20 people. If we get enough reservations by August 15th we can book another boat at the same rate and run two boats, so if you’re interested in going please register now using the form below!

We’re also thinkng about heading to the Common Man Ashland restaurant after our cruise for drinks/snacks/dinner. We need a headcount for reservations by Sept. 1st for that, so if you think you’d like to join us just check the box in the reservation form.
