Greetings antique boat enthusiasts!
We had a banner day at our 49th Annual Lake Winnipesaukee Antique & Classic Boat Show, which took place on Saturday July 29th, the last weekend of July as it always does. There were threats of rain predicted, but with constantly changing weather reports most of us came out regardless, looking to make the most of the day. The weather turned out in our favor and the rain held off until 3pm, by which time most boats had cleared out and the show was all packed up. It turned out to be a perfect day for it!

Our Chapter Photographer Eric Sojka was out and about and took some phenomenal photos of both the boats and folks in attendance. If you see your boat pictured we encourage you to reach out to Eric to obtain a copy of it, email him at woofen@juno.com. As always a HUGE thanks to Eric for capturing this event, as he has done for the past 48 years! Below are photos of the winners of our People’s choice and Participant’s choice awards, followed by a slew of photos of the day’s events. There’s even a short video of the day, courtesy of Julie Fergus.
We couldn’t have asked for a better day for our 49th Annual show, if you were not able to join us we sure hope you’ll be able to next year which will be our 50th Anniversary, see you there!
Also, Peter Ferber unveiled his new boat show poster for 2023, a picturesque scene of the Wolfeboro Town Docks back in the 1930’s, sure to be a favorite!
